Our Story

HighPoint began as a dream between two friends who wanted to see God do something great in Central Florida. Former Orlando Magic players Andrew DeClercq and Keith Tower, along with their wives, founded HighPoint Church in 2005 from a dynamic bible study in Andrew’s home. With a small committed group of founding members and a desire to build the kind of church that brought a real and relatable message in a casual and friendly atmosphere, the team began weekly meetings in downtown Orlando. As people connected with the refreshing mission of “Real Faith. Real Life.”, HighPoint quickly outgrew the downtown location and moved to it’s current home on West Colonial.

HighPoint is a growing, ethnically diverse community of people excited about our city experiencing the transformative power of Jesus Christ. We love God deeply, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

We are still as passionate as ever about Real Faith and Real Life. We value that every people grow in their relationship with God and their relationship with and community with God's people
